Dry components
2 1/Three cups plain flour*
half of cup natural cane sugar, or coconut sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp floor cinnamon
Pinch of any good-quality salt
Moist components
1 medium-sized apple, core-removed and grated roughly
1 cup plant-based milk, comparable to almond, soy or coconut,
1/Three cup light-tasting vegetable oil, comparable to sunflower or rapeseed
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, non-obligatory
Topping (non-obligatory)
1 medium-sized apple, core-removed and chopped into cubes
1-2 tbsp coconut sugar

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a 20 cm loaf tin.
2. Add all of the dry components to a medium-size mixing bowl. Combine till there aren’t any lumps. Add all the moist components to the bowl and blend till mixed. Pour the cake batter into the tin.
3. Bake the loaf within the oven for 50 minutes or till a skewer may be inserted into the center and there’s no moist batter on it. The cake could be very moist and there is perhaps some crumbs on the skewer which is okay.
